Stainless steel centrifugal pump
This horizontal end-suction centrifugal pump is intended for fluid-transfer and circulation inquiries. The pump moves liquid through a rotating impeller; the required flow and total head establish the operating point used for selection.
How to select a pump
Begin with the liquid and its temperature, the required flow, the total system head and the inlet conditions. Compare the system duty with the pump performance curve. Check the available voltage and frequency, the motor rating and the connection standard for the installation.
Materials and operating conditions
Wetted materials and the mechanical seal should suit the fluid, concentration and temperature. Check inlet conditions and available NPSH to reduce the risk of cavitation. Stainless appearance alone does not identify a particular material grade.
Installation and maintenance
Allow access for pipe connections and maintenance. Follow the installation instructions, prime the pump before starting and avoid dry running. The pump mechanical seal is an important part of the shaft sealing arrangement.
